Creating Health Resilience

Supporting Science

We combine science and art to promote health and well-being. By integrating scientific research with the healing power of art, we address health issues like mental illness, depression, and stress. Our programs use art therapy, grounded in science, to foster emotional resilience and support mental health for all ages. This unique approach empowers individuals to take proactive steps toward healthier, more balanced lives. Discover how the synergy of art and science can enhance overall health and prevent future health challenges.

Research

The Aleksandr Savchuk Cancer Charity has long supported the Scientific Centre of Monaco, funding research and advanced equipment to combat childhood cancers. The Centre’s stem cells and brain tumours team focuses on creating laboratory models to uncover the causes of aggressive and incurable childhood brain cancers.

The charity backs Dr. Swain’s research at Georgetown University, analyzing breast cancer genes in nearly 300 patients. This work aims to pave the way for innovative treatments.

Symposium

Symposium

The Aleksandr Savchuk Cancer Charity is committed to fostering interdisciplinary dialogue at the crossroads of art, science, and medicine through its thoughtfully curated symposiums. These events serve as platforms for exploring the therapeutic, cultural, and philosophical dimensions of art in addressing global challenges. Recent highlights include the symposium “In the Face of Natural Disasters, War, and Pandemics: What is the Therapeutic Potential of Art?” held at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris, and “Repairing the World with Art” hosted by the Scientific Centre of Monaco. Both events brought together leading experts to investigate how art can inspire care, healing, and innovative approaches to human well-being.

Educational Projects

We believe that educating young people is a crucial part of our work, especially in preventing diseases, including cancer. The more young people engage with and explore science, the better they can understand the importance of well-being and healthy living. This benefits both themselves and those around them. Building a healthier future requires this understanding, fostering hope and a happier society.
