Our mission is to advance scientific research, promote cancer prevention strategies, and strengthen health resilience. By integrating art therapy into our initiatives in science, education, and the arts, we aim to raise public awareness, drive innovation in cancer treatment, and enhance overall well-being.
Our association is dedicated to projects that will transform the lives of people. We believe in the power of collaboration and work with institutions, organizations, and foundations to create a broader impact. We achieve efficiency through synergy, which allows us to reach and help more lives. Our global vision ensures that our efforts will make a lasting difference.
Our association is committed to working closely with the younger generation, including children and teenagers, since its inception. Their creativity and ideas inspire us to improve mental health, support those already ill, and focus on prevention, a key mission of our organization. We value prevention, inspiration, and creativity, which young people naturally bring. Together, we build resilience and strive for a better future with good intentions at the heart of our work.
The Aleksandr Savchuk Cancer Charity was set up in 2014 by Taisiya Savchuk in memory of her father, Doctor of Science, leader in Ukrainian industry and philanthropist who passed away in 2011 from cancer. Aleksandr dedicated his life to supporting others. His family set up the charity in his honour to fund cancer research.
In 2019, the association broadenbed its scope to encompass art therapy, recognising the immense potential art as a healing tool. The organisation began promoting and organising art therapy sessions in hospitals across France and Ukraine, with the aim of supporting patients with a range of health challenges. The charity has also initiated research to explore the potential therapeutic benefits of art.
Throughout its journey, the Aleksandr Savchuk Cancer Charity has worked with a diverse range of partners, including scientists, young individuals, artists, and organisations. We are grateful to work with esteemed organisations including the Scientific Centre of Monaco, Palais de Tokyo, and the National Academy of Art in Ukraine. These partnerships reflect the association’s commitment to innovation and collaboration with the goal of improving lives through science and the arts.
