We are very happy to support young artists who take bold approaches to contemporary art at the Pavillon Bosio Monaco. It is a privilege to encourage and celebrate such talented students.
In 2024 we were thrilled to announce the winners of the Aleksandr Savchuk Cancer Charity Prize, awarded to two exceptionally talented students Tina Blomdeau and Maria David.
Ecological Art: Tina Blondeau
Tina Blondeau was honoured for her contributions to ecological art. Inspired by Storm Alex, her work uses video, photography, and installations, incorporating disaster site materials, recycled items, and eco-designed elements like agar-agar frame glasses.
Performance Art: Maria David
Maria David was recognized for her research in installation, video, and performance art. She created a relaxation experience with reading, exploring language and misunderstanding, particularly Cyrillic to English translation, reflecting her Moldovan family’s history. Her thesis on dust examined its relationship to our mortal condition and place in the natural world.
Both artists received monetary prizes for their outstanding work underscoring our commitment to fostering artistic innovation.
